By the initiative of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in collaboration with the Board of Regents of Western Prelacy Armenian Schools, a unique educational opportunity for Diaspora Armenian educators will soon be underway.
The acclaimed online program Oos Hartag makes its return on Saturday, September 27, 2025, launching simultaneously at 11:30 a.m. Los Angeles time and 8:30 p.m. Paris time.
Empowering Diaspora Educators
Oos Hartag was created to address the many challenges faced by Armenian educators in the Diaspora. Through interactive methods, original resources, and collaborative learning, the program equips teachers with new strategies to foster natural and joyful use of the Armenian language among children and teenagers.
The initiative emphasizes creating dynamic classroom environments where Armenian is not merely taught but lived—encouraging authentic cultural and linguistic engagement in the daily lives of students.
Program Format
The online teacher training will be held two Saturdays a month, each session lasting two hours, running from September 2025 through May 2026. The recurring format ensures continuity, skill-building, and long-term growth for participating educators.
