We are delighted to share with our esteemed community that in collaboration with the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America Inc., Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School has achieved a momentous milestone by acquiring a 6800 square foot property on Alexandria Ave.
As an institution dedicated to preserving Armenian language, culture, and heritage while providing an outstanding education, this acquisition marks a significant turning point in our journey. It reflects the remarkable growth and success that our school has experienced over the years, as evidenced by the steady increase in student enrollment.
Under the visionary leadership of Western Prelate Bishop Torkom Donoyan and the dedicated supervision of the Prelacy Executive Council Chairman Vahe Hovaguimian, we, along with the school’s Principal, Maral Tavitian, and our esteemed School Board led by Chairman Vahe Tashdjian, have actively worked to secure a property that meets the evolving needs of our thriving community.
Recognizing the importance of offering an optimal learning environment, we have taken on the challenge of creating enhanced facilities to accommodate our expanding student body. After an extensive search for the perfect opportunity, we are thrilled to announce the successful purchase of this property!
The acquisition stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication of the Prelacy towards its schools, as well as the Board’s resolute commitment to fulfilling Pilibos’ mission. It represents a momentous stride towards meeting the escalating needs of our thriving Pilibos community.
With the property now in our possession, we are actively planning and working on feasibility plans to ensure that it is ready for use during the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. Our School Administration and Board, in close collaboration with architects and experts, are meticulously developing plans to transform this property into an invaluable asset for our community.
