The Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School is pleased to announce a significant milestone achieved in collaboration with the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America Inc. Together, they have acquired a 6800 square foot property on Alexandria Ave.

This acquisition marks a pivotal moment for the institution, which is dedicated to preserving Armenian language, culture, and heritage while delivering outstanding education. It signifies the notable progress and success experienced by the school, evident in the consistent rise in student enrollment.

Under the guidance of Western Prelate Bishop Torkom Donoyan and the supervision of Prelacy Executive Council Chairman Vahe Hovaguimian, along with the leadership of Principal Maral Tavitian and School Board Chairman Vahe Tashdjian, concerted efforts were made to secure a property that meets the evolving needs of the community.

Recognizing the importance of providing an optimal learning environment, the school has embarked on the challenge of enhancing its facilities to accommodate its growing student population. After an extensive search, the successful purchase of this property has been confirmed.

The acquisition reflects the unwavering dedication of the Prelacy to its schools and the Board’s steadfast commitment to fulfilling Pilibos’ mission. It represents a significant step forward in meeting the increasing demands of the thriving Pilibos community.

With ownership secured, plans are underway to ensure the property is ready for use in the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. The School Administration and Board, working closely with architects and experts, are diligently crafting plans to transform the property into a valuable asset for the community.
