Pashinyan Brought to Preclude Russian Presence in South Caucasus – Artsakh MP

The Artsakh Republic has been surrounded by Azerbaijan for 102 days. 120 thousand Artsakh Armenians are deprived of the opportunity to go to the outside world, Azerbaijani fake “environmentalists”, and in reality, representatives of Turkish and Azerbaijani special services, have closed the only land road connecting Artsakh to Armenia and the outside world, the Berdzor Corridor.

After the 44-day Artsakh war, the RA authorities started talking about ensuring the “rights and security of the Armenians living in Artsakh”, without mentioning the right to self-determination, while Artsakh has officially declared that the only guarantee of the rights and security of Artsakh is the recognition of the right to self-determination.

Recently, Nikol Pashinyan and the authorities have announced that there should be an international peacekeeping force in Artsakh, again not mentioning the right to self-determination.

Answering the question of 168.am, Artur Mosiyan, the head of the “Armenian Revolutionary Federation” faction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, noted that it is not the first time that the ruling junta of Armenia proves with its statements that it has completely abandoned Artsakh.

“The only internationally accepted format for solving the Artsakh issue is the OSCE Minsk Group, which the world recognizes today. In that format, the Artsakh negotiation process was based on three main principles: self-determination of nations, exclusion of force and threat, and territorial integrity. But today Nikol Pashinyan does not use the word ‘right to self-determination’ in general, he only talks about ‘rights and security of Armenians living in Karabakh’. In other words, it is clear whose plans the RA authorities are advancing, and all of that has one goal: to finally make Armenia cease to be the guarantor of Artsakh’s security,” said Artur Mosiyan.

According to him, if they do not talk about the right of self-determination, but regularly repeat that they are “concerned” about the security of Artsakh Armenians, then they are completely manipulations.

As for the presence of international peacekeeping forces in Artsakh, including NATO peacekeeping forces, Artur Mosiyan answered our question: Will the Armenians of Artsakh be safe in that case?

“NATO peacekeeping forces are now in Kosovo, what is the situation there, this is the answer to that question.”

“Nikol Pashinyan was brought to power also in order to preclude the Russian presence in the South Caucasus. Pashinyan, with the help of his Western masters, is advancing this line, using various manipulations,” added Mosiyan
