ARS Western USA Educational Committee Holds Two-Part Panel to Mark International Women’s Day

On March 4, 2023, the ARS Western USA’s Educational Committee held a two-part panel event where the community came together to mark International Women’s Day. The first part involved a panel of female leadership, who spoke about the need to exert every effort to defend the Homeland. It included speakers Sarig Armenian, Arpa Hatzbanian Boghossian, and Nora Bairamian.

The panelists also spoke about the importance of our organizational institutions as being methods for preserving the nation’s commitment to protecting nationhood.

The first panel was followed by a conversation with Houri Geudelekian, the ARS UN Coordinator. She shared insight about organization’s direct efforts and priorities within the UN, especially with the Commission on the Status of Women. The ARS regional leadership thanked all those in attendance for being a part of this gathering and looks forward to future projects of the Educational Committee.
