Netherlands Parliament Adopts Statement Calling for Action Against Lachin Corridor Closure by Azerbaijan

On December 13, the Parliament of the Netherlands adopted a document submitted by a number of factions regarding the closure of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan. This was reported to Armenpress by the Federation of Armenian Organizations of the Netherlands.

The document says that, despite the agreements of November 9, 2020, Azerbaijan closed the Lachin corridor connecting Armenia with Nagorno-Karabakh and cut off the gas supply from Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh.

In addition, the parliament advises the government to call on the Council of Europe to issue a joint appeal to Azerbaijan, advise to stop hostile actions against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh and open a corridor.
