Local Armenian National Committee of America Chapters Meet to Discuss Federal Policies for 2023

LOS ANGELES, CA – On the morning of Saturday, February 18, members of the local Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) Chapters gathered to discuss the federal policies that the ANCA will be focusing on in 2023. ANCA Executive Director, Aram Hamparian, is in Los Angeles to provide an overview of the national organization’s priorities for the year ahead.

The event, hosted by ANCA Hollywood Chapter Chairwoman Lara Yeretsian, Esq, was attended by representatives from various local ANCA chapters who engaged in discussions about federal policies that are of utmost importance to the Armenian American community. Some of the key topics that were discussed include U.S. assistance to Artsakh, the safety and security of Armenia and Armenians worldwide, and the enforcement of Section 901 of the United States’ Foreign Assistance Act.

During the meeting, Hamparian went over the ANCA’s national strategy and discussed how the organization plans to achieve its goals. He emphasized the importance of grassroots advocacy and encouraged local chapters to continue their efforts in engaging with elected officials and advocating for the Armenian American community.

The local ANCA chapters expressed their gratitude to Hamparian for taking the time to meet with them and provide insight into the organization’s priorities. They reiterated their commitment to advocating for federal policies that advance the interests of the Armenian American community.
