Civil Contract Parliament Leaders Hold “Dual Citizenship” in Turkic States

According to Yerkir, Armenian-American community activist Sargis Zelveyan has reported that several members of Pashinyan’s “Civil Contract” faction in Armenia’s National Assembly (NA) have passports from other countries, specifically members of the Organization of Turkic States. The community activist provides data on the passports of three members of the Civil Contract: Speaker (President) of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan, and parliamentarian Lilit Minasyan.

“A number of “Civil Contract” party members have passports from other countries, which are part of a Turkish state organization. My sources have disclosed this,” revealed Zelveyan.

“Now let me present the data of three members of the Civil Contract party: Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Hakob Arshakyan, has a passport from the Republic of Kazakhstan, number 050367156; parliamentarian Lilit Minasyan holds a passport from the Republic of Uzbekistan, number FA 8343928; and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, also holds a passport from the Republic of Uzbekistan, number FA 2196931,” adds Zelveyan.

According to the information provided to Yerkir, the Civil Contract party members began to “secure” their passports starting from 2021. Those accusing Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan of having Canadian citizenship overlook the fact that the Canadian government granted him citizenship in his official capacity as a spiritual leader of the Armenian community in Canada for a decade.

The Civil Contract party leaders, on the other hand, have dual citizenship, not of the USA or France, but specifically of Turkic countries that have a visa-free regime with Turkey, allowing them to enter Turkey at will.
