His Holiness Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II conveyed the following message on the occasion of the Feast of the Miraculous Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ:
“Dear devout children in Armenia and across the Diaspora, the Holy and Miraculous Resurrection of the Lord offers us a steadfast hope as we confront the challenges confronting our nation with optimism and courage, particularly in this challenging post-war period. Artsakh remains occupied and depleted, while Azerbaijan persists in its expansionist and provocative actions, presenting new demands that pose direct threats to our state’s security.
The indignities inflicted by the hostage-taking political leadership of Artsakh and the unjust captivity of our children persist with criminal intent. Additionally, there is an evident policy of neglect towards the rights of Artsakh Armenians, along with the usurpation and destruction of Armenian spiritual and cultural heritage in Artsakh. To address these reprehensible realities, it is incumbent upon our people to overcome internal divisions and disunity, to heal the wounds of our nation, which has endured significant losses, and to fortify the homeland by uniting our efforts.”
