On its Thanksgiving day telethon program, the Armenia Fund hosted Avedik Izmirlian, who is purportedly a boardmember of the Armenia Fund United States affiliate. Oragark is not able to independently verify whether and in what capacity Izmirlian serves on the Armenia Fund’s board.
However, on its program, which was purported to be live on November 24, the hosts, screen, and Izmirlian himself falsely claimed that Izmirlian is a representative of both the Armenian Revolutionary Federation an associated organization.
This despite the fact, that Izmirlian was expelled and banned from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation in early 2021, as widely reported by multiple media outlets.
