ANCA Policy Seminar with Elected Officials

ANCA Policy Seminar with Elected Officials

The Armenian National Committee of America organized a comprehensive policy seminar with elected officials, powerful Armenian voices, and Armenian American activists.

The seminar was kicked off by former Mayor of Glendale and Glendale City Councilmember Ardy Kassakhian, Glendale City Councilmember Elen Asatryan, and Rolling Hills Estates Councilmember Frank Zerunyan. All three speakers shared their knowledge about getting involved with politics and how to advocate for our Cause to move forward.

On the media front, we had the opportunity to learn from Senior Political Editor at POLITICO Charlie Mahtesian, Senior Vice President of Edelman Public Relations Stephan Pechdimaldji, and Axios Breaking News Reporter Sareen Habeshian on how we can impact media to represent our voices.

We also had the honorable opportunity to hear from the Lion of California GOP Politics, Ken Khachigian who has done trailblazing work during the presidential administrations of Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, and Ronald Reagan.

The seminar was closed by ANCA’s Executive Director Aram Hamparian and ANCA’s Government Affairs Director Tereza Yeremyan outlining the ANCA’s primary long-term and short-term policy objectives.
