The current authorities have crossed all boundaries of law and morality. They have launched hostile attacks on all pillars of statehood—on the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the army, the church, and the diaspora. They have surrendered Artsakh. With treacherous methods, they are attempting to silence centers of national resistance.
While concealing their criminal behavior, diverting public attention from threats to Armenian statehood, and seeking to avoid accountability for national betrayal, Nikol Pashinyan is carrying out open terrorism against the Armenian people.
Arbitrary arrests, searches, and detentions continue under the rules of dictatorship. Fabricated charges are being brought forward, and all tools of psychological terror are being employed—accompanied by contrived descriptions of “preparation for crimes.”
The acts attributed to national opposition figures and their supporters could, under this regime of evil, be extended to any citizen of the Republic of Armenia or any member of the Armenian diaspora who is concerned about the homeland.
In such circumstances, it is the duty of all dignified sons and daughters of the Armenian people to unite and prevent further actions of the current government—the main threat to Armenian statehood.
The central task of the day is to stop the final entrenchment of dictatorship in Armenia, to remove these authorities, to hold them accountable, and to restore the dignity of the country and the Armenian nation.
