Armenian American Museum Heritage Gala to Showcase Prodigy Alec Van Khajadourian

Glendale, CA (October 14, 2025) – The Armenian American Museum and Cultural Center of California is proud to present an inspiring special performance by prodigy pianist Alec Van Khajadourian at the highly anticipated Heritage Gala to be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown.

Alec Van Khajadourian began playing the piano before he could walk, showcasing his prodigious talent from an early age. By the time he was four, he was already performing classical pieces by composers like Bach and Beethoven.

In July 2025, Alec made history as the youngest performer ever at New York City’s iconic Carnegie Hall, debuting at the NY Classical Debut Awards Gala Concert. Earlier that year, he won first prize at the Charleston International Music Competition and the Los Angeles Golden Classical Music Awards, and performed at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

“I’m excited to play the piano at the Heritage Gala!” stated Alec Van Khajadourian. “I love music, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone!”

Performances by young, exceptionally talented musicians reflect the Heritage Gala’s focus on celebrating the Armenian American legacy and culture. By showcasing the next generation of artists, the Heritage Gala highlights how heritage preserves the past and continues to grow, evolve, and thrive in the hands of youth.

The Armenian American Museum Heritage Gala will bring together supporters, community leaders, and dignitaries to celebrate the firm’s achievements and honor outstanding contributions to the Armenian American story. Heritage Gala sponsorship, program book ads, and ticket reservations are due by October 27, 2025.
