On Tuesday, EAFJD President Kaspar Karampetian accompanied Siranush Sahakyan, ED of the Armenian Legal Center (ALC) and Director of ICLaw, who represents the Armenian hostages at the ECHR, and Armen Ishkhanyan, son of former Artsakh NA speaker Davit Ishkhanyan who is currently held hostage in Azerbaijan, to meet with Belgian Senator Gaëtan Van Goidsenhoven, President of the MR Faction in the Belgian Senate.
The purpose of the meeting was to inform the Senator on the latest legal developments regarding Armenian hostages held in Baku and to increase diplomatic pressure for their immediate release.
