Այսօր՝ Հինգշաբթի, 26 Օգոստոս, 2021-ին Հ.Յ.Դ. Արեւմտեան Ամերիկայի նորընտիր Կեդրոնական Կոմիտէն այցելեց Ա.Մ. Նահանգներու Արեւմտեան Թեմի Առաջնորդարան և շուրջ ժամուկէս հանդիպում ունեցաւ Թեմիս բարեջան Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Թորգոմ Ս. Եպս. Տօնոյեանին հետ:
Փոխադարձ սերտ ծանօթացման առընթեր, հանդիպման ընթացքին արծարծուեցան Քալիֆորնիոյ և Արեւմտեան Ամերիկայի հայութեան առնչուած հարցեր, ներկայի մարտահրաւէրներ և ապագայի հեռանկարներ: Ինչպէս նաեւ և բնականաբար, լուսարձակի տակ առնուեցան Հ.Յ.Դ. – Թեմ ամուր կապերու առկայութիւնը և գործակցութեան ամրապնդումը: Յատուկ ուշադրութեան առարկայ դարձան Լիբանանահայութեան կարիքներուն հասնելու այժմու հրամայականը ու այդ ուղղութեամբ նախաձեռնութիւնները:
Խօսակցութեանց մաս կազմեցին նաեւ Հայաստանի, Արցախի և Սփիւռքի ներկայի դիմագրաւած բազում դժուարութիւնները և անոնց նորանոր դարմաններու որոնման և գործադրման կարիքները:
Today, on Thursday, August 26, 2021, the newly elected ARF Western United States Central Committee visited the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America and held an hour and a half long meeting with Prelate, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan.
In addition to getting better acquainted with each other, the Central Committee and Prelate discussed issues, challenges, and future prospects related to the Armenian-American community in California and the Western United States. Naturally, under the spotlight were the strong existing ties and invigorated cooperation between the ARF and the Prelacy. Special attention was paid to the imminent needs of Lebanon’s Armenian community and the initiatives in this regard.
The discussion also focused on the many difficulties currently faced by Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora and the need to find and implement new solutions to these problems.
